The “V 4 & Rotary Nationals” is New Zealands largest import car show, held at ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, Auckland.  Saturday is reserved for the show’n’shine inside the halls, with NZ’s top show / race / street cars displayed along with plenty of vendors keen to showoff their products and customer cars.

For the first time ever, a drifting demonstration was scheduled to happen at midday in front of the thousands of visitors.  Myself and 7 other top NZ drifters were invited along to show the fans what drifting is all about on the tight 2nd gear course.

The event was extremely well coordinated, Azhar and the team definitely know how to put on a good show.  I had heaps of fun, could actually hear the crowd yelling while I was sliding around the course in my S14.

I signed and gave away over 100 posters on the day, the crowd response was huge.  Everyone was impressed with how close I was getting to the barriers.  I also managed to take a few people for hotlaps.

My next event will be Top Gear Live, at ASB Showgrounds.  This is a 3day event on the 19th, 20th, and 21st of February.  It is a great opportunity for me to drive at a high profile event, we’re looking forward to showing drifting to the masses.
